I decided to test with the trigger from my Anthem and see if I can get the power supply going. So, here’s what happened:
- I ordered two Xantechs because I had two Proceed amps and my Anthem has three triggers that I can use
- One of the Xantech 599-00’s is defective! That’s why this wasn’t working. I confirmed with Xantech support
- I opened up the second Xantech 599, hooked up the triggers and got the red power light. Now, at least, I know that the insulated part of the Radio Shack triggers is positive (+) and the mesh copper used for shielding is negative (-).
- Now, I’m going to hook the other up and see if I can get the trigger working. Fingers crossed!
