Got my supplies… now what?!


Ok, I went to Radio Shack and asked for the diodes listed in the previous post. I’m so glad that Glen had posted the actual model/part numbers. I printed the Xantech user manual and brought it with me and showed them the diagram.

They really didn’t know how to advise me, so I’m not yet sure how to connect the diodes and how they are supposed to really work. So, if you do this, make sure you ask for the diodes by part number. They were really inexpensive–just a few dollars for ten.
I also picked up an extra 1/8 mono cable to use as a trigger just in case. I had a few of them already, but it looks like I’ll need to cut them.
